Battle Style:

Klause has always preferred close combat and, in fact he excels at it. Using a range of Taijutsu and ninjutsu, this Chuunin who often calls himself 'average' is able to quickly catch his opponents off guard. The quick reflexes and heightened senses which come with the clan he's a part of, help when it comes to dodging an attack and even knowing when an ememy is trying to deceive him.

His title Red Lotus, was given to him after an incident where Klause completely lost control of himself. Blacking out for a short time, when he finally cam too, he found that everyone on the battle field was dead and the other leaf shinobi were looking at him with looks of horror on their faces. His title meaning, a beautiful flower, stained in blood.

history can sometimes repeat itself, it tells a lot in a person.

HISTORY:

Telling about one's past is a troublesome thing, especially if a lot of painful memories are embedded within it. If you listen carefully however, I will do my best to explain all the events that occurred over these last thirteen years.

It's hard to say but, I believe everything started on my tenth birthday, this was also the same day I graduated from the academy and became a Genin. When I was placed into my ninja squad which consisted one male Genin named Kenshin and a female Genin named Kaori. Together the three of us trained, along with our sensei to hone our skills.

One thing I've forgotten to mention is that I come from a rather large clan in Konoha. Although we're large and quite powerful, we are rarely spoken about throughout history. The Tsuma clan specializes in summoning contracts and other jutsu related to summons. We also have our own Kekkei Genkai which is very much related.

If someone from the Tsuma clan could use the special bloodline jutsu to its fullest then, that person might become the strongest person in the clan and possible in the entire village of Konoha. This is why we were always in danger, especially the children.

Moving back to my main story. Kenshin, Kaori and myself would train for several hours each day in order to hone our skills and improve ourselves. While I personally had the speed and the intelligence to properly use my bloodline jutsu, I greatly lacked two things. The ability to properly control my Chakra, and the concentration to learn how to.

Kaori was the expert on the team when it came down to chakra control, therefore I would often ask for her help in my training. Within half the year, my team was able to complete the correct amount of missions and gained the approval of our instructor to take the chuunin exams.

There really isn't much to say about them, only that we took the exams and succeeded, using the best, possible teamwork we could back then.

Originally I thought that the three of us were good friends. We would complete missions together while taking turns being in the lead of the group. Then after a mission was successful, Kenshin, Kaori and myself would go to a resteraunt or that ramen shop down town and talk with each other, telling stories about the great adventure we had just had.

Those times were soon behind me as something terrible happened. Something happened which caused me to close my heart to the world and see revenge on the person I thought was my best friend. We were by this time, Sixteen years old and given a mission to retrieve a scroll.

Being the tactical expert on the team, I was the one who thought of the plan to get us in there and out safely with minimal contact with the enemy. The one thing I never accounted for however, was a betrayal.

Thinking back to that moment, I suppose that's what Kenshin had been waiting for all along. For me to trust him before he completely changes and betrays the group forever.

Somehow the enemy knew what we were up to and were waiting inside for us to make our move. These events happened in a fast manner which made it hard to remember every detail of that moment. I blacked out for a moment after being struck in the back of the head with a blunt object, and when I came too, I saw her. Kaori was lying there on the floor in a pool of blood..... Kenshin was standing over her with the most sinister smile I had ever seen. It was something so evil, I can't even explain it.

In a rage of panic and anger, I rushed forward holding nothing but a small kunai knife. My intent, was to kill the man I had originally thought was a friend. Dodging my attack, however; was an easy feet to pull off. Especially for Kenshin.

Before I realized what had happened, he had pulled his sword to guard against my attack. Attacking me after, he managed to slice my left eye. It was an attack I had no time to dodge.

Returning to the village after, I felt nothing but pain the pain of hatred towards the one who betrayed me. My heart had closed to the world, building a wall to prevent me from trusting anyone ever again.

Although I could have gone to the Hokage and explained the situation, I didn't. There was no proof that Kenshin did what he did.

From that moment on, I became distant from everyone I knew. Thinking that this is the only way I could properly keep an eye on that insane person who murdered my real friend. After months of watching him, I began to notice his interaction with a girl. She was about the same age as me and seemed to trust the guy.

But I knew what he really was.

One night after walking home from the store, I spotted Kenshin and followed him to the park. He was too far away from where I was standing for me to be able to make out anything he was saying. But that girl was there also. After a few minutes of watching them, I saw the expression on the girl's face turn from one of pure happiness to horror. She stood up from where she was sitting and ran. Ran out the village gates without taking even a single thing with her. Kenshin had gone too far this time.

Without any hesitation, I ran to the Hokage's office and explained the situation. Although not mentioning Kenshin, I stated that one of the female konoichi had been betrayed. She had left the village with no one even noticing.

I knew at the time that this was only for the protection of the village, but being an expert in tracking I was ordered to track her down and bring her back.

This is the end of my long tail and now you know what I must do. For my friends, my family, my village and my pride....
