Battle Style:

While just being an Academy Student, several tests has been run on the students so measuring their effort and potential would become a possible option. In Shikai's case, the tests' results showed him as a great Taijutsu user, even more proficient in defensive stances and endurance rather than offense, a good trait for one from the Miyabi Clan. It is weird though, as his endurance was enough to take the hits of the upperclassmen that sparred against him and when he fought back they had to draw a little more of their power - not because of his demonstrated physical force but rather thanks to the speed and fashion in which his body moves like: like a tiny storm.

Shikai was estimated by the records to be a great Taijutsu user and even better in Ninjutsu arts thanks to his amazing Chakra Control, already taking quick grasp of the basic abilities taught in the academy once enrolled and having mastery over the required amount of Chakra needed. While his hand seal speed requires work and his accuracy with Ninja tools is below the average, his stamina and Chakra pool are definitely exceeding the expected amount from a new recruit. The most amazing trait about him though is his mastery over a Ninja technique, a Jutsu belonging to the lower Chuunin levels and the higher Genin levels: a Wind Release-type technique. This extraordinary detail is what truly turns Shikai into a boy genius in his age gap. Genjutsu abilities were not measured yet for lack of any techniques being taught in the academy regarding such, but basing on his Chakra Control and intelligence it is estimated he might grasp the basics and at least reach the level of "Kai", Genjutsu Release by the time he becomes a Chuunin.

history can sometimes repeat itself, it tells a lot in a person.

HISTORY:
The First Great Shinobi War left the world of Shinobi in a terrible crisis. The countries that participated in the world had many Ninja die for the sake of their village and country, leaving families separated and destroying property of all sorts. In this case of territorial chaos, the leaders of the injured countries have resulted to cooperation with their neighbores despite existing conflicts just to gain some advantage over the large amount of repairs required. The Daimyo of the villages have even stooped low enough to exchange their own manpower to gain immediate supplies, knowing such deeds can result in the opposing country gaining an upper hand. As such, the great Clan exchanging plan was performed with numerous amounts of Clans and members sent to other villages as a 'gift'.

Iwagakure's wind specialists, the Miyabi Clan were no exception.

Once the Earth Daimyo heard of the Clan exchanging operation he already had over 4 Clans in hand that could help quite much. Obviously amongst which were the rare and exclusive Miyabi Clan at the time and thus the Daimyo came to the Clan leader - Miyabi Irono - in request ti separate the members and spread them worldwide, in accordance to whatever requests the village receives. The other 3 in the man's head were requested the same way but only Irono refused to follow easily despite the village and country's state. It took a small while to convince the older Ninja to agree to the plan but he came to in his time, finally coming to the decision that if the Clan is destined to split apart - it will eventually cease to exist. The Miyabi Clan were to leave Iwagakure entirely.

The operation ended out being a huge success at a great personal cost. The Miyabi Clan members were spread in the country of fire - Konoha, the country of wind - Suna and the country of lightning - Kumo. With each divided group a more trusted man from the Clan was put in charge, acting like a secondary leader of the sort. The groups had some difficulties getting used to the new life given to them and even more to the fact from that moment they may have to kill their friends. As for Shikai, he was born without any worries 4 years after the division. The two specific strong individuals who gave life to the boy were perhaps young but still ready for what was coming. Mitsuki Miyabi and Nibare Miyabi decided that the newborne will not know the same pain they had felt four years prior.

Shikai grew up as a happy kid with heroes in his mind.

Striving to be a real hero one day, Shikai always looked up to his father, a Jounin-level Shinobi in action. It was to be expected: Ibare was almost good enough to be one of the ANBU operators of the village. He truly was a hero in his immature son's eyes, something both parents didn't like so much. Due to his laziness and preferred choices, time and again did Shikai decline offers to join the Ninja Academy, only for his father to force him into it later on his life. Before that though, he wanted to try something entirely different with his son, requesting Mitsuki's help on the manner.

These were most likely Shikai's longest seven days.

Being just eight years old at the time, young Shikai was taken to a demonstration of power with a full and detailed explanation concerning precisely the nature of the Clan and its usage, the whole demonstration including three Jursus used - two by Mitsuki and one by Ibare, the legendary Miyabi ultimate Renkudan coming last from the father. Naturally, idolizing his parent and growing in the hands of the other, the young boy was thrilled just seeing them perform the hand seals and release the Jutsus. Motivation was as if injected into his body.

He had to try that out.

Shikai managed to himself a motivational training program in order to master his mother's technique, the Daitoppa Great Breakthrough. But with his lower than moderate stamina and much lower Chakra Control, mastering such an easy technique does require seven days. At first to raise his endurance, then to grasp Chakra control and finally the utilizition. Of course, it didn't exactly go as planned when at the fourth day he was suddenly under the supervision of a certain Chuunin from the village. He was given tips and personal training methods from higher-ups about his training, allowing him to grasp the use of Chakra in less than half a day. He was prepared to take on the Daitoppa a lot sooner than expected. After making progress on the fourth day, Shikai took a day off.

Who knew Shikai better than his mother and father to tell the fifth day exactly is the one he will rest at, and what a coincidence it was for the extermination of Miyabi battle to take place exactly at his training grounds.

Word got to all villages about the death of several Miyabi Clan members around the world and that a battle is most likely to burst in a certain day. Never did Ibare and Mitsuki guess their lives would end that day. Word came in that the Miyabi in Kumogakure attempted trading Clan members with Konoha's Hyuuga and died from foolish acts, and they were going to be avenged soon enough. The destination was a small valley between two large mountains, where Shikai trained. The Miyabi parents died that day, but the enemy behind the deceiving act on the Kumo Miyabi was defeated as well.

Shikai was almost broken if it weren't for that Chuunin that helped him that day, taking him in as his teacher's final orders said. The Daitoppa was mastered easily a day later, after Shikai's depression ended. His father saved him intentionally and the boy knew it very well.

At the age of 9, a year later, Shikai enrolled the Academy and left it. He enrolled again for a new semester right after turning 11, doing not much at all during those two years - namely trying to help his new house alive.
